A celebration of Chicago music

The sweet sounds of Chicago’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will fill the air at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center (226 N. High St., West Chester, PA) on Friday, January 21 at 8 p.m. as preeminent Chicago tribute band Begins – A Celebration of the Music of Chicago take to the famous West Chester stage.

Since their genesis in 2002, Beginnings have earned the title of one of Chicago’s favorite tribute bands thanks to their authentic replica of the iconic seven-piece band. Featuring several seasoned performers who have worked with legendary artists such as The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Victor Wainright, Beginnings is famous for recreating Chicago’s extensive collection of hits, including five of their Platinum albums and 20 of their most popular songs. .

They brilliantly rejuvenate Chicago’s famous setlists for a modern yet respectful take on the rock n’ roll era of yesteryear, with songs such as “Make Me Smile”, “25 or 6 to 4”, “Call On Me”, “Saturday In The Park”, “Old Days”, “You’re The Inspiration” and many more.

Plus, as seasoned performers for over twenty years, Beginnings make it a priority to captivate their audiences with energetic performances that bring all the excitement of the original Chicago performances straight to the audience. Along with their dedication to authenticity, comes a straight from the band promise of “Make You Smile”, with every performance.

Begins – A Celebration of the Music of Chicagoshow is just one of many exciting shows and events coming to Uptown! Performing Arts Center in the New Year. Others include a screening of Ratatouille (January 24), Dueling Pianos; a monthly piano duo experience (starting January 27); Hollywood Nights – The Bob Seger Experience (January 29), a screening of the film, No Reservations (January 31); and much more.
