KGF: Chapter 2 of Rocking Star Yash has become the biggest box office hit of the post-pandemic era in Bollywood. The Hindi version of the film did extremely well in Mumbai, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan and East Punjab.

The film opened to massive hype on April 14 to unprecedented hype. Probably for the first time a movie, originally made in Kannada and dubbed in Hindi, got such a big opening. Undoubtedly, it got the biggest opening of the post-pandemic era as it hit Rs 53.95 crore on its first day.
With the film receiving fantastic reviews, the collection has only gotten better with each passing day. In the opening weekend, it netted Rs 193.99 crore nationwide from the Hindi release alone.
Prashanth Neel’s creation earned Rs 268.63 crore at the end of its first week. The film managed to maintain its momentum and went on to collect Rs 348.81 crore in two weeks.
Over the next seven days, the period drama added nearly Rs 50 crore to its tally as the film ended its third week at Rs 397.95 crore. Subsequently, the activity experienced a significant decline.
KGF 2 Closing of cases
According to a report on Bollywood Hungama, the Yash and Sanjay Dutt star made Rs 434.70 crore in his lifetime from the Hindi release alone.
Among the hubs, KGF 2 achieved the highest business in Mumbai region where it fetched Rs 134.61 crore followed by Delhi-UP (Rs 91.68 crore), East Punjab (Rs 46.84 crore) Central India (Rs 26.28 crore) and CP Circuit de Berar (Rs 18.03).
Interestingly, the multiplex channels contributed more than Rs 240 in core business and KGF 2 alone made more than Rs 100 crore in PVR across the country.
