After being postponed several times, KGF: Chapter 2 finally hit theaters on April 14 in five languages. KGF: Chapter 2 is a sequel to the film of the same name, produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
According to business analyst Ramesh Bala, the Hindi version of the film grossed Rs 44 crore on day 2. The long weekend could further boost the figures in Bihar, UP and the Hindi belt. The Hindi version of the film is expected to gross Rs 95-96 crore net, according to the Indian box office in 2 days.

Director Prashanth Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2 follows the story of Yash’s Rocky after he takes over the goldfields of Kolar. Going through the post-credits scene of KGF: Chapter 2, the third part is in the works. Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon star in lead roles, while Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken and Saran are seen in supporting roles.
